our story
When our first child, Harrison, was stillborn, our village showed up with incredible love and generosity. A meal train became a light in a period of darkness. But managing the coordination of that care became an invisible, guilt-ridden burden. Answering calls, arranging visits, repeating our needs, receiving so much more than we needed. Our village's instinct to care was beautiful and intact. What was missing was infrastructure to make it possible.
I built Herde for everyone navigating pivotal transitions and the villages supporting them. To set your preferences once, and let your people show up powerfully. To remove the guesswork from giving, and make receiving feel personal. Because the instinct to care is never the problem, people just need the infrastructure to act on it properly.
